The new Orange Android phone (San Francisco) £99...but a Question??

Only got it forwarding calls now. Sent about 5 SMS and ran a few speed tests on 3g and downloaded an app over wifi.

Apps seem to have as much bearing on battery life as using the phone does. For the last two weeks I've been getting less than 24 hours to a charge where as before I was getting close to 6 days with moderate usage. Updated a few apps over the weekend and it's shot back up again :o

Should have a few presets loaded from the simcard, pre-pay, post-pay, monthly, etc.

Wife couldn't use MMS on hers till i picked the right one, still O2 settings, just different O2 settings!

No ****ing way I'm giving them £17 to fix a faulty phone that's under warranty.

Whoa, sounds like someone's got a gun to your head lmao.

It's a third party repair centre. Obviously they will charge you for your custom. It's a simple business really, and I don't understand why that's infuriating you so much.

Since when does a company charge you to fix an item that has ceased to work within the first 10 months of them selling you that item

I'm well into my thirties and I've never had a company point-blank refuse to take responsibility for an item they sold less than 12 months ago, and then try to fob me off with a business card for a third-party.

Is that considered to be normal behaviour in East London?

Hi guys, im going on holiday soon...Would it be wise to downclock my phone as I have no means to charge my phone?

I'm on SS so there is a built in clocker app...? Any safe low end clocks? Also...would it be okay to set the high and low clocks the same?

I doubt you'd see much of a difference apart from changing minimum to 122 instead of 245, thats if your gonna keep it on 'on demand' clocking.

Personally I'd recommend changing rom to GSF, massive battery improvement over SS for me, infact in every way. :)

WTH is gsf :p...Sounds like some dodgey bondage theme :o

Thankfully my battery is pretty decent in general if just texting...its phone calls that kill it.

Actually, think my min clock is already set to 122...lol...So would changing the max do anything?

Anyone had to deal with Repairmob.com yet?

Yea total joke! Orange wont touch it if its passed 6 months. These gits rob you £17 for postage i said to the women on the phone "cant i just post it you myself...." "NO"

Under EU law its under warranty from the manufacture ZTE. i must have tried ringing ZTE europe 10000 times they never once answered.

So i give in and sent it repairmob. Decent service to be fair in the end

No, but it is normal for "cheap" products. If a world class warranty service was a major factor for you, you should have gone with a more reputable mobile phone brand.

It's like complaining because a keyboard you bought from Poundland stopped working after 7 months. No one will give a toss. If you want a keyboard with a good warranty, you go with Logitech.
