Had a play around with one of these at the weekend. My only previous touch screen experience has been with a mates Samsung Tocco and I found it horrid to use. Oh how tech has changed, the SF worked wonderfully. Is it much different hardware-wise than the Tocco's touch screen? (I'm pretty much a newb with phone tech btw).

Yeah it was a small, remember to give it a firm press down before you remove the backing. It'll make sense when you see it.

There has been a few mentioned in the thread so far, think I remember seeing the Desire and there's the Samsung Monte case on this page. Can't remember the others.
That vinyl sticker looks cool. May order one, dunno whether to go black or green though. Don't want the black to be too black
Apparently the Nokia E73 silicon cases fit it very well. Although they do cover the buttons I think.
I was tempted by white because I thought it would contrast well with the grey but figured it would get mucky easily or look a bit footballers wife. Went with the standard green in the end.
It's where you can bake your own custom roms with just the features you want on it, i.e strip out all the Orange stuff, add in things like the HTC IMC keyboard etc..
You select a bunch of tick boxes, hit bake then you download your customised ROM ready for application. You need a Modaco subscription though to access it.

When I seen the pictures on the Orange website, I thought the San Francisco lettering would be really offset and noticeable, but its not too bad imo.
It's in beta at the moment, it's out there if you know where to look. Or if you search for Khaaaan!'s posts he posted up a link to it hosted on his webspace.

ive got it via appbrain but it still says it cant be found, odd, isnt it something to do with android 2.1 that the SD runs?
