Just to clearup thats not a file its a command. You are directing the fastboot.exe to perfume its job using that file that should be in the fastboot directory. File being recovery-clockwork-2.5.0.9-modaco-r2-blade.img.

I do have the file in the fastboot directory now and it is still saying error: cannot load 'recovery-clockwork-2.5.0.9-modaco-r2.blade.img'

I didn't think it was. All the others expected a certain amount of knowledge but that one simplified it a bit more for me.

I would do as it does in the tut I directed you to and do everything from the main C:\. Put everything you need into one directory.

Thanks Asim, I did that and it rebooted my phone. Now I install the actual ROM?

If its worked now when you turn the phone on hold the volume down button at the same time till you see a small line of white writing. It should then enter the clockwork mod mode where you can install roms.

One thing I've noticed with this ROM is wifi seems to keep disconnecting.

Mine's on the Modaco R4 rom and when I lock/unlock the wifi drops. It's solved by downloading 'blade wifi fix' for free from the market.

TDenic, totally understand your issues! I got pretty annoyed at one point when trying to follow the guides, I have to say they really don't make it very clear. Sure it's step by step instructions, but that doesn't help when you're not even sure what you're doing

!

Guys I'm really not up to date with it when it comes to mobile phones at all, thus I'm seeking wisdom!

My question is; I'm currently on a plan with virgin media, if I was to pick up one of these orange phones would I be able to unlock it and use it on my virgin contract? Also how would the internet work with that, would I need to upgrade my virgin contract to include internets?
