i would have thought so, as there no different to any other sim.

Orange data usage is horrible though, you're going to want to unlock it.

I have a tmobile pulse, anyone compared the 2? just wondered if it was worth replacing

just noticed it has less internal memory than the pulse 150mb vs 192mb on the pulse!

Got mine today, unlocked for £5 within 5 mins, put 3 sim in, and it works great

This is my first android/touchscreen phone and im very impressed

Only issue I have is the keyboard - needs getting used to after having a proper keypad on every phone I've had all my life until now!

Just flashed the MoDaCo custom ROM and the device definitely speeds up a bit. Not that it was sluggish with the stock ROM, but it definitely helps to be rid of Orange's customisation!

any chance of a guide on the correct procedure to do this mate so people dont just dash over there and get the rom and do a bad flash ?

There are different keyboards you can download if you find the one preinstalled a bit crap.

To be totally honest, I just followed this first:

The two posts literally detail every single step, and the guy has created a full YouTube video talking through and showing the whole procedure.

It really is as easy as he shows it is, and to be honest, if someone finds it difficult they probably shouldn't be attempting it

Think maybe you are mistaking internal memory with ram. The SF has 150mb memory built in like for photos and storage, but it has 512mb ram. Not sure on the Pulses ram, but it's definitely less than the SF.

To those who picked one of these up and actually used the Orange sim, any rough ideas how long it took for the sim to activate? Switched the phone on initially at 6PM last night, still not getting any service.

Tested the phone with an older PAYG Orange sim and it works fine, so I know the phone's not faulty.

With the new sim in, you can access the sim toolkit on the phone as well, so I know the sim is being read at least.
