The NEW SPL Season 2010-2011 **Spoilers** (Read the Rules Before Posting)

Should be nervy performances from the OF with the mid-week games though both should win. Both opponents looking to secure third place so should be good for neutrals if tense for OF fans.

Also, Hamilton finally picking up the points to annoy St Mirren but not looking forward to either team in the first division. Dunfermline look early favourites for relegation though I think they'll be like ICT and get some good results.

I'd like to think with Rangers current run of form we will go on to win the league, but the past tells me never expect Rangers to go out and crush anyone.

Can't see Hamilton staying up, they have had their fun but havent really made any impact what so ever.

Dunfermline could be one of the poorest teams to with the first division in a few years now.

Is your last game not against Utd???? Still in your own hands.

It is but I've watched Hearts snatch defeat from the jaws of victory often enough to still feel a bit nervous despite this.

Anyone any predictions for the Rangers vs Dundee Utd match tonight?

A draw would do me fine but given their recent form I'd expect Rangers to beat Utd quite comfortably.

In all honesty its probably been one of the poorest seasons in SPL history, the gap between the old firm and every other club has increased, Celtic spent the most for the second season and while they have better players than Rangers, they are not as good as a team unit as Rangers are (ive thought this when seeing my own team play both of those sides this season).

Walter Smith getting man of the match award a nice touch at the end tonight. :)

Aberdeen getting their lowest ever SPL attendance apparently with the final home game against St Mirren that they lost 1-0, sub-6000 so wonder what changes they'll bring in over the summer?

Hamilton losing as well so relegated now though they've been awful all season.

All on Celtic tomorrow to avoid losing and handing Rangers the title though I think Neil Lennon was a bit silly with his comments about teams trying so now Hearts will have a go at them even with third place secure.

There's rumour of Brown having funds available in the summer which makes sense seeing as he initially rejected the Aberdeen job and then Aberdeen improved their offer/gave him assurances of a decent budget to work with.

Hamilton have never been an SPL team this season IMO and will be glad for Dunfermline to take their place. Hamilton have a pretty poor support and have played a negative game more often than not so they won't be missed. I would much rather see a team like Dunfermline/Dundee/Falkirk in the SPL for their larger fanbase. I know it's hard for Hamilton having to compete for fans with the OF on their doorstep but that's just tough.

The old firm are not really on their doorstep, but its a problem for all sides in Scotland, we (St Mirren) probably suffer more than anyone outside of Partick Thistle due to being the closest team to Glasgow, the amount of blue and green buses that leave Paisley is sickening (cant understand it myself, would rather support my own local club and take true enjoyment from it rather than get involved with all the stupidity that following the old firm entails).

Hamilton didnt get a great support, but that was down to the club messing about with the stadium and having them homeless for a few years, the same thing happened to Airdrie, it killed the fanbase and the they never recovered, if it was the distance from the old firm, Motherwell would suffer similar small crowds and while they are small, they are not that bad.

Stewart Milne putting his hand in his pocket? I'll believe that when I see it.

Indeed. It's not going to happen.

If Maguire and Aluko leave then we are rumoured to get £600k in compensation for them and possibility of Foster being sold but other than that any money we have will be in the form of players leaving.

Celtic winning 3-0 tonight against Hearts but a game that'll be remembered for an attack on Neil Lennon as a fan ran onto pitch (hope he's jailed) and Kris Commons getting sent off for celebrating goal with fans (2nd yellow).

Ah well sets up another exciting end of season.

Great, another heavy loss, another player sent off and some idiot wearing what looks like an old Hearts top attacking Neil Lennon. Well that makes my night complete anyway.

The only upside is that Rangers beat Dundee Utd last night so Hearts can't lose third but really that's grasping at straws for an upside.

Good win for Celtic tonight. All they could really do was make Rangers win it on Sunday. League is in the bag for Rangers, no way will Walter Smith and his team slip up. I'm sure Celtic fans will be glad to see the back of him, he's done a great job at Rangers.
