The **Now Drinking** Thread

That lasted a day.
On the Tennent's. As much as I like "decent beer", I quite like Tennent's out of a can. Plus, don't have an income this month so 24 cans for £11 suits me.

You sound like one of my mates. "Not going to drink in Jan". Come the 4th and he's bought a case of beer. :p

Never tried Tennents - what does it compare to? £11 for 24 seems rather cheap.

Heh, well it was in my flat. ;)

It's far from a special beer, just another one of your Carlsbergs, Stellas, Budweiser, Fosters, kind of thing. But, I do actually quite enjoy it from a can. Wouldn't bother trying to get your hands on it though. Was on offer in Tesco, they often have 24 cans for £10 or £11 so will usually buy a box or two.

Ah, would be rude not to. :p

A bottle of Leffe has been opened and I'm sure I can hear another bottle crying in the fridge, might have to put it out of it's misery. ;)

Aceface, I appreciate what you're saying but it's a guilty pleasure of mine. I know better than to like Tennent's but there's just something about an unchilled can of it that agrees with me. It's probably living so close to the factory, they probably put something in the fumes to get you hooked! I'm not a big fan of it out of a tap though, but mainly because it's so sodding cold. Hate really cold lager.
Fuller's are a great brewery, did their tour some years ago. Lovely beers.

Currently drinking - Tennent's. ;)
