Leffe isnt bad, its a bit poofy and sweet, but not a bad one to work your way up on to the good stuff. The Brune (brown) one is better IMO.

Just tonic water for me tonight, having a few days off the drink.

Guess it's written in French and Belgian?

On to the 2nd bottle now still tastes funky but not as bad as before. What's the main ingredient in this? It's got quite a strong herby taste compared to 'normal' rats ****, I tasted a similar ingredient in Hoegardden when I tried it a few weeks ago.

Oh wait, ignore the Biere De Luxe comment. I thought you were someone else, didn't realize you were replying to me. Cheers, will nip down to my Asda and see if they have any.
As for the taste, they probably add spices to it. That, and the careful consideration of hops adds to the flavour. Haven't drank the Blonde or Hoegardden in a good while so can't recall the taste.
