The **Now Drinking** Thread

Apart from 1 can of Holsten last night I haven't had a drink all week! Lost 5lbs so all good. It's my wedding anniversary today, and the romantic I am I'm taking the wife to the rugby! So a few mainline beers on the cards and a curry later, I think a couple of pounds will be going back on! :D

I think I've said it before but Old Crafty Hen is a world class ale.

It's strongish at 6.5% but is so drinkable.

I wish I'd got 4 bottles of that rather than the Shiraz I did get for tonight! :(

Moving on...

Sierra Nevada pale ale, the old faithful to wash away the filth swept in by japan:D

beers are going down pretty easy finally!

Just polished off a surprisingly good bottle of Bordeaux. £5 (down from £7.50 or so) from ASDA. They have a bunch of French stuff on offer atm.

The imported bottle of Sapporo that I had wasn't actually that bad. Refreshing, run of the mill, lager. Not much too it but it wasn't bad.

Having a pint of cider.

DJ, when pouring a can of Guinness from a can (either widget'ed or not) into a glass; should I 3/4 pour, let settle and then fill up (as you would if it was draught in a pub - I've got a certificate in that!) or do you just throw it all in in one go? It's been bothering me for some time.

Having a can of Murphy's right now, discovered it hiding behind a packet of Creme Caramels. I don't think it matters how this is poured, it'll always be horrible. ;)
