The **Now Drinking** Thread

Leffe Royale Mount Hood, 7.4%.
Leffebeer that simply tastes hopped with Mount Hood hops - not your normal leffe at all. Very refreshing!
I also have Leffe Royale Cascade IPA too :)

Both mmmmm...

The inlaws bought a few more beers over but right this instance I'm in a Cider mood with Thatcham's Katy (7.4%) lovely :)

Just had a couple of brewdog beers

Jack Hammer (7.2%) absolutely lovely

and Mr President (9.2%) nice but not as good as other one

Whiskey sour

2 shots Balvenie Doublewood
1 shot fresh lime juice
1 shot simple syrup
1 egg white

mix together with ice, shake like hell, pour through a strainer. Amazing.

I don't drink much but I prefer the chalice glass, it's a bit classier than the typical pint glasses.

I just mean a glass that resembles a pint. Not one of those old fashioned pish pot pint glasses that old men drink slop out of at the clurb.

Thatchers Katy is my fav, i've drank more of that than any other cider, don't drink booze at all anymore though.
Funny you should say that... A good friend of mine used to drink a lot of that and he is no longer able to drink alcohol either!! Does taste good though!

Currently nursing a pint of Jail Ale... Yum

Aldi own-label whiskies named best in world

Two Aldi own-label whiskies have won gold medals at the world-renowned Spirits Business Scotch Whisky Masters.
The budget supermarket’s spirits fought off stiff competition - some of which retail for three times the price - to take the top spots.
Gold medals were awarded to Aldi’s Highland Black Scotch Whisky (£12.99) and Islay Single Malt Scotch Whisky (£17.49).

I bought a 6 pack of Weston's vintage cider last night and managed to drink a grand total of 1. Therefore I'm having 1 for breakfast along with the footie right now. :p

Lastnight - long week, glass of Chateau La Pogue 2010. One of the last bottles from the two crates I had.. For an 8 year old wine it's in superb condition.
