Are you after a go at the GBBO?

Hah no, my ability and knowledge so far is probably only basic baking 101 to those guys. It's good fun though and satisfies my sweet tooth and I give most of it away to friends or family.

Next batch going in the oven.

Oven? I thought Churros were supposed to be fried?

They look good though. I fancy a go at them sometime.

Yep, apparently frying is the standard way. But her recipe was for baking and she reckons it tastes better than frying. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iT9IpYSS7uA

Advance warning. Make sure you don't add your eggs until the dough is at least luke warm otherwise they'll scramble.

Myself and a friend had a Warrior burger at TGI's in Watford late last night. As nice as it looked, it was absolutely grim. The burger was just bland and tasteless. Best part about the entire meal was the fries. Everyone else had Blackened Chicken Fajitas that were so salty. Not a single person at the table of 5 actually finished their meal :/ We were too plastered to complain, and the staff were excellent tbh.

I just made Blondies for the first time and it seems I baked it for just the right amount of time. Wow, they're something else. Fudgy, gooey, super sweet. Very rich and dense. I chucked in a ton of white chocolate chips. And I made my own caramel sauce which was not as challenging as I expected. Lovely when warm and topped with ice cream.
