The **Now Eating** Thread

The tiny saucepan is the best! It fits exactly the amount for a small tin of beans. You can actually use it to heat up the beans but it’s quite tricky since it’s hard to stir in such small container.

I first saw the beans in a tiny pan about 15 years ago at a posh hotel breakfast in the Cotswold. When I got home I had to have it and searched high and low for one.

Recently I also found a stainless steel for about 1/5th the cost of the copper one, and it doesn’t tarnish like copper…lol

Have you come to a decision regarding the ketchup on a doner kebab? I feel that's Permaban worthy.

This is under serious discussion. As anybody who knows me will tell you, I'm a kebab connoisseur - the state of most of the kebabs in this thread leaves a lot to be desired let alone ones with ketchup on them.

So I hadn't planned on takeaway today, but the new Buffalo version of the twister wrap came out today and it was also the wrap of the day. So I thought id get two of them for my dinner. Wasn't going to get anything else, but I noticed they were going to charge me £2 extra for making a small order. So I thought if I'm gonna pay the £2 anyway, might as well get something for it. Ordered a portion of southern rice. Then the order came. The wraps were good. The new sauce is spicy! But the southern rice was missing, instead they gave me... fries, coleslaw and a corn on the cob. And a can of Pepsi Max. Oooookay.... weirdest, yet also most beneficial order mess up I think I've had. I wondered if they gave me another persons order, but the wraps were correct. 3 sides and a can seems like a big "substitution" for one side they might have been sold out of. Whatever, works for me :)

That old chestnut, like the TV series The Detectives Xmas edition, where they popped into the store to get a 4 pack of beer and see 'buy 2 get one free' and ended up with a trolley full of beer :D

How to get a free chicken nugget.

Don't spread this :) At Morrisons for example they have two options. 5 nuggets for £1 or 10 nuggets for £1.70 or somet. Ask the checkout person for 6 chicken nuggets. You might get "Don't ya mean 5 nuggets", but the 6 will be in there head when they are counting. I've done this...
