Lago di Bracciano! It’s so nice there. Probably a bit cold to swim in the lake, but it’s like swimming in a huge glass on mineral water. Absolutely amazing.

When we lived in Rome we used to go to this place:


Would walk through fire for their Tonnarelli Allo Scoglio and vino bianco frizzante! Wicked calzone as well - man vs food scale, but only in the evenings. Goodness I’d love to go back there.

Very small town, not a lot (if anything) to do but great for a few days. I went there to shoot a small wedding so that was the main reason and that was 1 day, the other days i just walked around, eat gelato between meals.

Regarding the lake, the locals told us that it is illegal to put a fossil fuel motorised boat in it, there was also none of those swan bike things or any boat rentals, at least on the north side of the lake. Very local place, saw may be only half a dozen other English speaking people there and i was the only Asian in town.
