Woke up this morning with a really bad throat, chest and head with absolutely no energy.
Got test kit on standby, but enough of that.

Because I use delivery services so much (Uber 2 years ago and Deliveroo in 2020) I got a £7 voucher from Deliveroo to use before the end of the month.

Large The Big & Cheesy with Bacon Meal
Large Coca-Cola® Zero Sugar, Large Fries, Balsamic Dressing
Cheese Melt Dippers Sharebox®
Rich Tomato Dip, Rich Tomato Dip, Rich Tomato Dip

For £14.33

It's obscene how much takeaway food is now, more so with a delivery service on top of it.

I know it's a treat food and you're not well (sorry to hear that mush) but it's incredible how much a humble fast food burger has increased in price.

Cheers
Pretty much the reason I prefer to home cook now and I only charge the OH half the price of delivery

Tbf, he’s got a lot of food there and getting more expensive is hardly a trait exclusive to take aways Is it? Supermarket food and drink has gone up 27% in the last 2 years

Large meal and a share box essentially, granted it's a "special" meal.

But yeah, agreed everything has got more expensive. Just begrudge dropping that sort of wedge on fast food.

Do you have to argue about everything?

Yes I do. I'm so entitled I demand 1998 prices in 2023, bring back mild mustard sauce and the train all the restaurants used to have.

Is that what you wanted to hear?
No it’s not a case of arguing, I just get a little tired of people moaning about every price rise going and completely ignoring the fact that the businesses expenses have soared in the last few years. Ingredients, energy, wages, rates etc. It’s as if people don’t think the businesses extra expenses should be passed on to them.

Awww, poor McDonalds with there 33% profit margin... It's not like he's arguing about Mrs Simkins putting the price of her loafs up by 15p.

The funny thing is it's not McDonalds or any other company.. it's the cocaine nose jobs.. if you make 1 billion profit in one year.. and only 1 billion profit in year 2.. then you're usless.. so all companies have to try to increase profits every year.. as if there's a never ending supply of money out there for them to get more.. and to make more profit..

It's the 20th century disease.. I guess we all have to live with it..
