I’ve got this this week. Still got a honey and mustard ham joint in the fridge. Will be slicing that up and having it with fried egg and crinkle cuts. Next day sandwiches

I think that hash brown looks great. Looks oily and crispy as a hash brown should be.

I wish maccies sold bags of their hash browns in the supermarket

There is never enough galaxy caramel or maltesers though

@Gilbert89 I was going to mention those Aldi hash browns lol but they're not quite the same as the McDonald's ones but probably the closest you'll get.

Went for a KFC as not had one for ages "gravy double bucket" or something.... The chips have loads of seasoning on now, not sure I am a fan! Chicken was lovely though, the skin was perfect!

Agree on the fries, they were not great before but not sure about the new version.

I was going to make pork meatballs with noodles but didn't get the mince out the freezer early enough so thats for tomorow.

Almost caved and got a takeaway but decided on some fries, bacon, refried beans, cheese etc.

Yeah a couple were ok but as I went on they weren't great.. just checked their website:

The seasoning is a blend of savoury herbs & spices including black pepper, white pepper, paprika, sage, rosemary and bay which perfectly seasons our skin-on potato fries

I think much of it is that they are skin on fries now, I don't really get the appeal. Id like the option tbh...regular fries or skin on.

Yea the option would be nice, I'd probably go for normal without the seasoning. They always feel soggy/floppy as a texture. Not like fries from other places that are crisp.

How many bits of chicken did you get in the bucket?

6 pieces, 6 mini fillets, one popcorn chicken, 4 fries, two large gravy and bottle of drink. Shared between 3 of us.

Aldi’s does some half decent clones in general
