Made a (few) Paris-Brest for the other half’s birthday. Oven in this rented flat was too awful for cooking the pastry so had to use the air fryer and ended up with slightly burnt almonds :(

Well done! I made Paris-Brest a few years ago. Only once because it's not easy but so worth it. The creme patissiere alone is a performance, so congrats, yours looks perfect!

Nothing to sing and shout about tonight but putting a huge load of Sourdough to good use.

“Veeegan” Beans and Sausage’s on White Sourdough with plenty of Butter, Black Pepper.




The curry kings crown is slipping
But that does look good.
Plus to take it up a level, next time sprinkle a little cheese and grill that. Then add some Worcestershire sauce
