Went back to the global market today on the way to work.
Something I don't get often. A baguette from the Welsh hog roast vendor. Sage and onion stuffing, heaps of pork pulled off the hog, gravy and apple sauce
And a wee crème egg cupcake for afters. It actually had a little mini crème egg inside it. Lovely
I also got a dish of meat paella to take to work with me, but I wasn't able to get a pic of that.
Last day the global market is in town, so of course I had to go back for lunch.
Gave one of the new stalls there this year a try.
Really nice Gyro. Tasty meat, tomatoes, chips, tzatziki sauce and some kind of red pepper stuff dusted on top. Hope they come back again next time, I would get stuff from them again.
And I got a few cupcakes to bring home. Couple of malteaser ones, toblarone, caramel, strawberry and dime bar.
And I got myself a chicken donner calzone on the way home to have for dinner
That Gyro was probably one of the best things I've had at that market over the years. And the calzone was amazing. Chicken donner is so much better than lamb donner, to me anyway.
