FFS...:mad:when will Nvidia fix the bug that keeps resetting my desktop colours back to their washed out, overly bright defaults.

Everytime I reboot I have to manually select 'use Nvidia settings'.

how frigging difficult can it be to fix such a trivial bug..

It might not be the colors, but output is set to limited by default with new driver install.

With the latest driver:

Go to > Nvidia control panel > Change resolution > Output Dynamic Range > (Change to full ).

No, I've been using the 'full range' option ever since they introduced it a few drivers back, and the unofficial 'Nvidia full range colour unlocker' app that somebody released before that.

It is so annoying, as when the desktop first appears, my modified settings are being used, then about a second later the washed out defaults will reset them.

This is definitely some kind of driver bug, overriding my settings.

Yeah that's definitely weird, I have to change mine to (full) every time I install a new driver and then it's fine. On (limited) it's washed out like you describe.

Maybe to do with your particular monitor, what monitor / cables are you using?

These drivers seem to have altered the voltage/boost again.

I'm seeing higher values than on previous drivers with the same overclock settings.

Edit: After a restart it seems fine.
