**THE NVIDIA DRIVERS THREAD**

The 352.86 drivers are terribly unstable on the desktop. I've been getting regular messages informing me that the driver has stopped responding.

I'm getting exactly the same, seems random too, when browsing, playing games or just sat there on the desktop. Just trying a complete uninstall and re-install

Same here........back on 350.12 after having a handful of driver stops doing nothing more than sitting on the desktop. No issues in game with Witcher 3 etc, but it's useless for me in general use.
Fair amount of reports reporting similar experiences, so will not touch again until a fix is in play.

^had that crash earlier, well I say crash, I got the driver not responding and recovered pop up but no visible signs of a crash.

It appears the gfe witcher 3 optimisation has been updated, it actually selects decent settings, chose those and manually enabled full hairworks, lovely!! Averages up around 55-60 now :)

Havent crashed once on the newest witcher 3 drivers but performance isnt great in witcher 3 even after all the tweaks. I have only installed the display driver, hdmi driver and physx driver.. the rest im not interested in.

EDIT: forgot to say that performance isnt great though.

this(dual Titan x)

352.86 drivers for me have been awful, stops responding 2-3 times a day.

Had no problems with the 350.12 drivers tho.

Not sure how to roll back the drivers:(

Tired latesr drivers again today for kicks , still very unstable when accessing anything Nvidia such as the NV Control panel , just locks up ... SLI still refusing to work for the witcher 3 and none of clock speeds are reporting properly ... Did this last time had to roll back to 347 , as going back to 350.12 still gave wrong clock speeds untill I went to 347 then moved back up to 350.12 again .

As some1 who has had major issues with most nvidia drivers over the last few months 352 has suprised me in its stability.Three days not a single issue.

Legit shocked actually as all the lockups people have been getting have been what i have been experiencing on every driver since the new year except 347.88

The 352 drivers have been really problematic for me and my 980 GTX, using Windows 8.1 x64. Either black screens with an odd flashing cursor or driver failing to respond and then recovering.

Gone back to the 350.12's and, thankfully, all is well after using a driver cleaner.
