**THE NVIDIA DRIVERS THREAD**

I've been hearing the latest drivers have been causing problems. My 970 arrives on Monday and I want the latest good driver version (& Geforce experience) ready for it. Which one should I go for and where do I go to find previous drivers? This was never an issue on my laptop, the only driver update I remember was the one before GTAV.

I actually asked that same question before I got my 980 ti's, but just went ahead and installed the latest and not had a single issue.

Don't be so sure, some users have had no issues for a week, then boom " Driver has stopped responding ", others it happens every day.

Can someone do me a MAHOOSIVE favour please ?

It involves making a 1 minute video with Shadowplay of any game with audio, Upload the raw footage to YouTube and see if it has intermittent audio stutter, Just need to see if it's on my side of things or the software.

I've recorded game footage with Mirillis and Fraps so far and neither get this intermittent audio stutter, Only Shadowplay :(

None of my videos have stutter and all of them are recorded with shadowplay mate. See sig for my channel.

Thanks dude, I'm guessing it's some type of problem with a driver install or something.

Oh and subbed :D

Thanks! Try killing off the capture service, then disabling shadow play in the GE program, the ensure your default audio device is set up right and reviews initialise. The capture server is usually the culprit with shadow play audio issues.

Try 350.12 its the one most seem to go back to after having problems with the later ones.

Are these an improvement? I'm still using the 352.86 driver as there were too many horror stories regarding the latest 353 drivers.

Anyone installed and tested this latest one?

Another driver rushed out to support a game without fixing the real issue many people are getting and still has known issues in the game it's being released for...

Just makes the switch to AMD Fury X easier as long as nVidia keep doing this...
