**THE NVIDIA DRIVERS THREAD**

These drivers seem a step in the right direction. I wasn't having any crashes in any games, but Crysis 3 would not load without a DXGI error message using any of the previous 353.xx drivers. These hotfix ones have fixed that.

I was mainly having crashes on the desktop, totally unrelated to chrome or any browser, and so far I haven't had one of those. But, I do keep getting Lightroom crashes now when viewing/ editing images on a second screen! I don't get the 'driver has stopped responding' message like usual though, just a program has to close crash. This was NOT happening before!

3 steps forward and one back, 6/10.

I've had driver crashes on .30

I've only played BF4, pcars. Driver crashed once in chrome, so I switched to ie. pcars has had driver crashes on the first corner...if I get past that (like 20sec of racing) all seems fine. but I can load up again a bit later and then it'll crash. bf4 not had a single crash.

just installed .38 and so far pcars has been hammered for 1 hr. and no crashes. I've played, exited and played. and no crash.

I'm sure its not sorted...but its the longest I've played pcars with out a crash.

OK. So I've left my machine on a while and booted up PCars. And done a couple of races. No crashes so far.

For me .38 hotfix I think is more than just Chrome TDR fixes. It has also fixed it in PCars for me. Perhaps what ever causes it in Chrome fixes it in Pcars.

Also GPU utilisation is average...get between 63-85%. If I put a thunderstorm on it stays 97%+ though. That is probably the game.

This card is phenomenal..in 3.5 years I'm shocked that this is performing roughly 50% better than my 680 sli.

I'm not impressed even with these new drivers Pcars crashes. I went from a 670 with not one issue to a 980Ti and all i'v had is issue since, regretting the purchase !!! as about ever 10 laps race i get one crash... Cards complete stock ref no OC. Not had chrome crash since that driver update though at least.

Installed the new betas 353.38 last night (uninstalled GeForce experience and driver, rebooted into safe mode, installed new ones).

3 hours in Witcher 3 with no TDR. Fingers crossed it stays that way.

I've just put a new PC together so i'm drudging through little niggles here and there. Using the latest drivers, is anyone finding Alt Tabbing laggy? It was fine before but now there's a delay, it could be many things i'm sure but wanted to cross the drivers off the list first.

The hotfix driver earlier mentioned it fixed a delay when alt tabbing

GeForce Hotfix driver 353.38

This is a GeForce Hot Fix driver, version 353.38 that addresses the following issues:

Chrome Crashes/Freezes/TDRs
Delays when starting or switching apps & games with GSYNC enabled

Getting a bit annoyed with the crashing in Witcher 3 now :( Happens several times a day.

May want to consider a Windows re-install and freshen things up, I've had no problems with the last three Nvidia drivers to the extent that some people are talking about and nothing with the current current drivers.

Check the Nvidia forms too to see if your specific configuration is the issue.

Andi.
