**THE NVIDIA DRIVERS THREAD**

Anyone using the Swift with SLI and have trouble using 2 cards in 3D, I have an official response from Nvidia.

Hi Nick,

The case was escalated to me. I've review the notes and this is a known issue we are currently investigating and hope to release a fix in a future driver update. We already have a fix pending but it does need to go through internal testing. We are targeting this fix to be released in the 358.xx driver release, unfortunately I don't have any ETA but I will certainly notify you as soon as a driver with the fix is available so you can verify. let me know if you have any further questions.

Best regards,
Ray

I'd expect dev drivers to be slower since I'd assume they'd be compiled against debug versions of libraries and with compiler optimisations disabled.

The only way I could see them being 'faster' is if they have all the legacy cruft removed and are built for a specific target platform.

Funny thing is the best experience for me has been dev drivers.. all the WHQLs since 353.30 has been a mess for me for whatever odd reason. When i say best experience i do not mean Max FPS though i ofcourse mean less overall issues.

WHQL 358.50 has beenterrible on my system but the Dev driver 358.70 is not. All my stuttering in GTA 5 has gone away completely its like playing a new game. Im certainly staying on this driver and hoping no issues will crop up. The 358.70 gets a big A OKAY from me for the moment atleast.

EDIT: Insurgency seems a lot better too.. so fare 2-0..

None that I could find when I was having the same problem a while back. There was a supposed fix involving the registry but it never worked for me.

Its annoying, been trying some over-clocking and that happens but it randomly sticks to 594mhz, sometimes the driver crashes and goes back to the proper speeds but a lot of the time it needs a reboot. :(

Looks like 1460mhz is the most i can get so far. Was hoping for 1500 but another 40mhz probably isn't even 1 fps in-game.
