Is there any way of restarting the driver without rebooting the pc? Hate it when the driver crashes and then decides to stick at 594mhz.![]()
Should be able you just disable your gpu in device manager, and then re-enable it.
Please remember that any mention of competitors, hinting at competitors or offering to provide details of competitors will result in an account suspension. One of the first things I tried, didn't work for me.
Always required a reboot.
Happily the latest drivers seem to be better and I don't have the same problem now.
New 358.78 dev drivers released (23/10/15):

Don't know but I've realised it doesn't like 4x MSAAAnyone here running Ashes of the Singularity and noticing any improvements with the new drivers recently?
Wondering if they're making any DX12 improvements - from what I've read, AMD seem to be doing better here right now.

Download CRU, the tool for custom resolutions and such. There is a program called restart in that package which should do the trick.

After trying both dev drivers I went back to the "Official" Hotfix, Kept having driver stopped responding issues with the latest dev driver.
You might as well keep up-to-date, but realize that you're unlikely to see any notable performance improvements with that card at this point. Updating will probably be more for stability with the OS and compatibility with apps than for improvements in games.Gents, I've been a bit lax recently with updating to newer drivers. Currently running 344.75 on my GTX760. Games I'm playing at the moment are GTA IV, MGShantom Pain and Satellite Reign. Any suggestions as far as moving to a newer driver? Or just go for the latest stable one (which is what out of interest?).
Thanks!!!![]()
