You don't have to kill it. There is a close button in the top right if you hover your mouse there.

Scratch that. It just hides them. I could have sworn using the close button really did close them. I know it wasn't possible in 8 but I thought 8.1 did that. :o

I installed the affected drivers and realised that something was wrong when my PC kept BSOD'ing or restarting in the morning when it should be more or less an instant wake up on Windows 10.

I installed the 362.00 drivers over the affected drivers over the weekend but it doesn't seem to have worked as my PC took ages to do anything this morning. It looked more like it was being turned on rather than being woken up.

Should I have used a driver cleaner to fully remove the affected drivers, restart my PC and then install the 362.00 drivers? I might do that tonight if needs be.
 
Installed latest drivers on Saturday morning. Played around 5hrs of The Division and a couple on Tomb Raider and all was fine. If anything I think my idle temps have lowered.

I don't however see any improvement in FPS on The Division...
 
Is there much point in me installing the new driver 364.51 over 361.75? I know 361.75 was the driver for division beta however will or is there much improvement in the division on the newer driver?

I'm just really scared on updating my driver from my last experience. I can't see anyone complaining about the newer driver though.

You will need the latest driver if you want to play the new Hitman in DX12.

Ahh okay! I'll bear that in mind. Ive got the game and its halfway downloaded but not finished it yet cos ive been buys playing The Division :D

Just wonderd if there was any performance benefits to the newer driver for the division.

Nah, The Division runs the same on the last few drivers for me at least. Hitman runs just as well in DX11 as well as a heads up.
