**THE NVIDIA DRIVERS THREAD**

:rolleyes::eek:

Using Sony Vegas Pro, selecting GPU to render as for video " Driver has stopped responding " straight away

Using Facebook, choose a video to upload and instead of selecting a video, I selected with a right click open to load via VLC Player " Driver has stopped responding "

Nice

Yer, run DDU and retry with the latest drivers. If no joy, run DDU again and go with the 362.00. I am using the latest with no probs if that helps.
OK so I downloaded DDU and booted into safe mode. I then restarted PC and installed latest drivers. I put PC in sleep mode and just got up and turned PC on. The same BSOD I got over the weekend and this morning happened again.

I'll try tomorrow with DDU again but 362.00 instead of latest. I didn't catch the full W10 BSOD but it mentioned nvlddmkm.sys. I'll do a proper google on this tomorrow after work. Do you think the 362.00 will fix it or is there something else going on?

Are the 364.51s safe? How many people still use 361, 35* or lower?

I "updated" to 362 on Sunday and had my first D3D crash on GTA for 6 months or more. Rolled back to 361 as they have been solid for me.

I might try latest n greatest soon, however there is no real need for me to do so as I only play GTA and a very very small amount of ED

I'm still on 361 as had issues with 362,i did do express install though so not sure if that's the reason why? I'm only going to do custom/clean installs from now on

I never put my PC to sleep but shut down instead. It takes a few seconds for my PC to boot up and history has shown lots of grief when people do put their PC to sleep/hibernate.
OK so I repeated the boot into Safe Mode, DDU and installed 362.00. Put PC into Sleep mode for a minute and then pressed keyboard. PC woke up as it should have done. :) Happy now. Will leave the 362.00s on until the next driver release and see how that goes. :p

I just installed the latest WHQL drivers and noticed that nvbackend.exe (part of Geforce Experience) is installed and set to auto run for all users even if you don't install Geforce Experience.

I always perform a custom installation because I just want the graphics drivers and none of the other bloat. But now the installer isn't honouring my choices. :mad:

I noticed the same - could always disable services after install as a work around - not sure what effects that would have though. ymmv of course.
