**THE NVIDIA DRIVERS THREAD**

Hi All,

Just found a problem which I need help with.

When I load up the division in 4k, everything is fine.

But when I run NFS in 1440p, I get a blue flicker over the screen and I tested this with the division as well and it shows the same in 1440p.

I recorded a bit in shadowplay and the game recording looks fine so what could this be?

I have tested on both my 4k monitors and it is showing the same on each - the blue flicker but not showing in shadowplay recording.

I haven't swapped cards yet, or monitor connections so will revert back once I have tested this

Uninstall the Nvidia 3d vision driver perhaps.

I don't have it installed :/

Just tested the below:

So only full screen 1440p
Have tried a single screen plugged in - same
Both screens separately - same
cards swapped around - same

SLI disabled = doesn't happen

So if SLI is disabled why would it only do it on 1440p and not on 4k!? wtf

EDIT: it is happening on any resolution that is under 1440p only. 1600p/1800p etc including 4k are all fine.

And shadowplay is recording 1440p and all others non 4k, looking normal so I assume the issue is between the GFX card and the monitor. Cable/Connection/Monitor?

Resolved!!! But here is one to consider....

Why would an sli bridge cause glitches in sli, on resolutions under the native resolution but not on the native res?

I swapped the bridge and everything works again..

PCB/hard bridges can handle more bandwidth than the old floppy bridges. Also, at high resolutions the bridge isn't used and the sync info is sent over the PCI-E bus.

New drivers seem to have solved the fan rev issue on my FE 1080.

I do have one gripe that is will Nvidia ever change the drivers so the default output dynamic range is full on displayport instead of limited. It's really irritating having to change it back after each driver update...

Supports the new GeForce GTX 1070 graphics card which delivers the incredible speed and power of NVIDIA Pascal™—the most advanced GPU ever created. This is the ultimate gaming platform.

Nvidia dissing their own 1080 as not being the ultimate gaming platform ? ;)

I just update the driver over the top dont do clean install or remove prior and my settings stay as they are including full DR.

What's the difference between limited and full?

It wasn't so long ago that you needed a third party app to change it at all. Don't expect miracles. ;)
