**THE NVIDIA DRIVERS THREAD**

anyone experiencing this with new drivers it is driving me mad :

https://m.reddit.com/r/nvidia/comments/59hjpn/geforce_experience_not_starting_on_windows_boot/

not sure how that guy installed gforce experience 2 , as if i have it installed and want to update only driver driver setup still deletes it even if i didn't tick on it .

No, can't say I've experienced this, yet :)

The problem that annoys me is where the display driver is crashing and giving the Kernel Driver Error.

Wish I knew which was the first version this started with as I'd roll back to the one just before.

Anyone have any ideas how far back to go? I don't think it was all that long ago.

375.63 seem good bar the 144hz flicker issue.

This may have been asked already recently but in the new GeForce Experience console how do you enabled the FPS overlay? I think I've got it set on right menu but when I press Alt + Z nothing happens.

Sorted. It's Alt + F12 and needed to restart game

Many thanks!

This might be a dumb question, but is it just a case of downloading and installing it, or do I need to uninstall the existing driver and do a clean install?

Something tells me it'll be the later part of that question, in which case what are the best steps?

Thanks once again & regards

Im not sure if this is a Windows 10 issue, Graphic Card Driver Issue or Monitor Issue....

980ti
Acer X34
Gigabyte Max VIII Hero mobo (latest bios)

When I turn my PC on first and then the monitor straight after the screen is black and takes ages to show the logon screen (20 - 30 seconds total)

If I turn the monitor on and then turn PC on I see the bios and windows loading screen and then the login screen (4 or 5 seconds total)

Any ideas what is causing the problem?

DO NOT update to the latest 375.86 drivers! I repeat, DO NOT update to the latest 375.86 drivers!

Multiple reports of users using the 10 series cards are having low FPS on all games (<30 FPS at 1080p on my 1070 Zotac Amp Extreme on all my games and Heaven) caused by the drivers forcing the VRAM clock to only 810 mhz effective. Issue doesn't appear when I was using 375.70 and now running at 375.76. DDU and Clean Installs were always used.

Anyone having problems with new drivers

Makes me laugh that people use DDU and stuff and have problems and I just express install over the top every time and never have issues.

Haven't got Pascal though, still rocking Titan X Maxwell SLI
