**THE NVIDIA DRIVERS THREAD**

I just express install over the top every time and never have issues.

I express installed 375.86 and got issues.

I then express installed 375.70 and got no issues.

What is it with these tech companies ? We often hear about widespread problems after an update. Do the software guys say "that'll do", and they just issue the update ?

There seem to have been so many issues with Nvidia's driver releases this year. I suppose another hotfix will be rushed out in the next couple of days for this latest bug, which would be the sixth release in under a month. Maybe tone down the release schedule a bit and stop releasing them half-baked.

Yup, mark my word, mark it very well. There is a hot fix driver on the driver way , what wants to show up from that company just released this driver.

does battlefield 1 run any better with this new driver? I'm getting average of around 70fps on most maps now but do get the rare drop to low 40fps range at times, has the new driver made any difference? as I wont update if not much has changed as not running to bad for me at the moment :)

Nothing but major fps drops and stuttering with these latest drivers and I have a G-Sync monitor

that's poop! thanks I will avoid then, I have gsync as well and even now if I get a big drop from say 80fps to 40fps I get a tiny stutter, luckily its quite a rare occurrence for me and only happens on 2 of the maps.

Updated to newest drivers, physx and GFE with fresh install and telemetry remained off in Autoruns. Good news!

New drivers still install the telemetry stuff if you click the custom install and do a clean install. I had to disable them again when updating to this driver.

Nvidia never learns really, with all the backlash they got you would have thought they would add an opt out option on this driver or remove it totally.

Lets see how these drivers go now, last lot were causing minor issues that were not there before, so lets hope this one fixes it now, the issues were on the fixed items so we will see.

It's odd I get an occasional screen flicker whilst in desktop mode also. Going to uninstall these now and revert back. The fix for Division also doesn't work unless it was really DLC specific.

Strange, I didn't. Who knows, it's all just bad news from team green these days, especially for the jacked up prices

Sadly very true.. silly prices, never ending lies "mistakes as they call them", telemetry technology in their base drivers and their drivers seem to have got worse for a lot of users especially the 10 series (Pascal) users. Knock on wood I don't have many strange problems with their drivers with a 980ti, but last driver did feel a bit off and did some strange things sometimes to the screen with odd glitches in 2d but seems this latest driver has resolved that and was in their fixed issues.

It really is putting me off wanting a 1080Ti if and when it comes out. I may just wait for the next generation 1180Ti at this rate, till they resolve the issues they seem to be having with this generation and then see how it goes with the next. Not looking good so far for Nvidia for me, I may jump ship again to AMD next time and I have to admit I miss their better 2d visual quality, but hoping they have resolved their driver issues for older products like FSX. If they have they are looking like my next purchase even if their product is slower than the fastest on the market, anything faster than a 980Ti in my book is fast enough for what I need at 3440x1440 @60hz or 75hz (oced).

Issues for 10 series cards and IW and BF1 with latest drivers.

As a 970 owner not sure if I should hold off or not.

---

Was just about to install, but I imagine they will re release an updated driver soon so probably best to hold off.

My Titan is fine also. Custom install over old drivers.

Did notice it will only give the card 0.8v in furmark now and a max boost of 1800 ish. Not sure when that changed in drivers?
