**THE NVIDIA DRIVERS THREAD**

qq

I'm running some tests for manualG (Nvidia drivers guy on Geforce forums)

I'm running a series on benchmarks showing the performance degredation with the past WHQL drivers by running benchmarks in Division.

Just to make 100% sure since I have a G-Sync monitor, in Nvidia CP does Vsync remain ON and In-Game V-Sync is OFF?

thanks

If you're running benchmarks I would leave V-Sync off. (May be moot if always stays under cap :p)

Personally I have the global setting as "Use the 3D application setting"

Does no one here have problems with small fps drops (annoying drops to 57-58 from 60 vsynced) or micrstutter with 1000 series cards? The situation with my 1060 has improved slightly with driver updates but has never really been completely resolved.

in regards to new drivers issue

Turns out it is an issue with AIB cards that have OC memory from factory.

Just a quick update on the memory clock speed stuck at 810MHz issue. This issue seems to affect some factory overclocked GeForce GTX 1060/1070/1080 cards. We have reproduced this issue and identified the root cause. A hotfix driver will be made available as soon as a fix has been confirmed.

Makes me laugh that people use DDU and stuff and have problems and I just express install over the top every time and never have issues.

Well to be fair I have Titan X Maxwell SLI, which are all produced by Nvidia so this was never going to affect me was it?

Honestly though, My time with Nvidia SLI (20 months) has been absolutely hassle free when compared with my previous crossfire AMD experience with 295x2 and 290x.

My EVGA GTX1080 FTW isn't affected. No issues here. New drivers working fine so far.

That's better.

Well done Nvidia. Try testing your drivers on your products next time. OK, some of your customers might tweak your GPUs a bit, but the end user expects your drivers to work reasonably well. Why not treat yourself to a few new graphics cards, I'm sure you can afford them.

Thought I'd test out and see if it stops BF1's freeze>CTD on my setup.

Utter garbage Nv.

Nv system tray-gone.

GFE has removed all installed games/settings and crashes after you log in, that's handy with 3 Nv Shields.
