**THE NVIDIA DRIVERS THREAD**

3 years for what? Nvidia are 99.999999% of the time on top of games and way ahead of AMD in delivering drivers on time.

The game releases today.

Been playing it for about two hours now, great game, works buttery smooth on 4K.

But still, no game ready drivers??

Haha. I am kidding to be honest. As long as the game works fine which it does I don't give a toss. It is like back when Wither 3 came out when I had an AMD card, people including Nvidia fan boys would say "no game ready drivers? lol" yet the game worked perfectly fine anyway, when crossfire was turned off that is, but that is another story :p

days?

It's been atleast 3 years.

Welcome to 2017

I would say about a year or so AMD drivers have been better. But nothing wrong with Nvidia's drivers either. Works fine here, loving it :D

Yet happy to go SLI? Hmm interesting :p:)

TBH one card sits there doing nothing 70-80% of the time. If it wasn't such a faff to split the loop I'd sell it.

I only really bought the second for my epeen size and benchmarks.

When the next Titan comes out I'll buy a single one and that'll be that.

Apple too, but iPhone's just work for me.

Every single time I have had an AMD card I have had issues, be it single card or two.

Everytime? the occasional one or two but everyone one everytime its too much like a coincidence, changing cards is a very simple thing to do but next time maybe get someone to do it for you, i would suggest you don't know what you are doing.

I have had numerous issues with AMD cards over the years and when I switch back to Nvidia these problems go. It really is that simple.

I think you should get professionals to install your cards, Nvidia and AMD cards are the same.

Look what I started... lol :p

The main thing that comes to mind when I hear things like this is, did you format Windows before sticking an AMD card in? I always format before switching from AMD to Nvidia or vice versa, never have issues. Surely it cannot be PEBCAK as sugested by Humbug as you are competent enough to build a custom cooled PC. Apart from that it must be bad luck :(

Or Nvidia somehow installed a virus on your mobo somehow to make sure only their cards work on your PC!

Yes, I always do a fresh build for most upgrades/hardware changes. I tried all sorts. As you say I know how to build a custom loop but I can't do the simple task of changing a card from one brand to another. Apparently. Let's not get started on what I do for a living.

I don't know why, well, I'd imagine drivers were the reason why, but as I've posted, I (and mates of mine, too) always have more problems with AMD cards vs Nvidia. I appreciate there are people problem free with AMD, but I guess I wasn't that lucky.

No one can have that much bad luck, Including AMD, his experience cannot possibly be anything like typical or AMD wouldn't exists refunding every card they sell.
The problem is clearly with him.

True though, anyone who claims to need a second MTX in games for 3440x1440 is a liar. I think Modern Warfare Remastered is the only game I have played that really pushes it, and then, SLI doesn't work properly anyway!
