New setting in the Manage 3D Settings, Background Application Max Frame Rate, Colour Accuracy Mode, under Adjust Desktop Color Settings, might be new also (not sure on that one, as not updated for ages :p)

Might just be that one then, im not really sure, with not updating for a while, and not going in there :p

I can't believe i never took my own advice, and waited for the hotfix, as apparently these have got loads of problems.

https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/geforc...e-46079-game-ready-driver-feedback-thread-re/

Ive not had any yet like :D

That sounds horrible.

"got one. with the new drivers, if you use 2 monitors or 1 of those pass 122hz, the gpu goes idle 1650 and temps rises. These was take down on last version, and i was playing in 165hz /144hz and the other monitor no problem in 122hz, since putting on 144hz also gets idle o 1650mhz and temps rises. so is not only new cards also on old cards. All is fine before the 3000 series drivers. The rest of the pending issues still, as documents, and the new fixes also is present. For now i can not put both monitor in 144hz without making the card push 1650hz in idle. and temp increase. (4 drivers now)"

I'm on 452.xx and don't have issues on a 240Hz display with idle clocks. Yet they seem to be screwing with them? Why...

So should I stay clear of these latest drivers?

Am swapping GPU later and was going to update but maybe I'll stay where I am as I have no issues at present.

That said, I'm on 452.06, what's the latest stable version without issues?

I think it depends on hardware. The newer cards seem fine. I have issues as I have a GTX 1080 Ti and a 144Hz monitor. Just killed my system.

Dont say that or you will be bringing out the nerf driver doomsayers !!! That will be the next topic I dont doubt.

They come out every GPU release.
