I'm rocking the 8700g and my windows 11 experience is way smoother than it ever was with NVidia. Everything feels and looks much smoother. Imo Nvidia got lazy and let their drivers depreciate, whilst AMD has continue to improve theirs.

Nvidia are now an AI company, not a GPU company. "Wooooosh, beyond fast, i am the sound effects, the more you buy the less you pay"
I've just come from Nvidia to AMD, i'm not going to labour on it in this thread but AMD just feels like a much more polished product, without a doubt.
Never had that issue with my 4070 Ti, I wonder what causes it.Well... i finally fixed this long standing issue, how? I upgraded my drivers, to AMD.
Youtube, Discord, Visual Studio Code are flickering with black checkered squares/vertical lines. Partial solutions to this issue.
First of all, I would like to say why I made this post. My initial goal is, of course, to help other people with this problem. There is already a similar post about artifacts, but in that post there are two different problems that are not related to each other and appeared at different times, so...www.techpowerup.com

I've not seen that issue either on either the 3080 Ti or 4090. The scrolling stutter in browsers was fixed in the hotfix driver, it also fixed the vsync stutter but I never had that (Gsync user).

Not eveyone does, some do, its something with the Windows 22H2 update, turning off GPU acceleration fixes it but one shouldn't have to do that, this isn't AMD of 2011, we are way past those days, one would have thought.

Looks like the exact same changelog to hotfix 551.23, just with skull and bones added in the release notes. no reason to update from hotfix.

Shame the game HDR function never made it into the Nvidia control panel for this update... shame the Nvidia control panel itself wasn't updated

ever since i had the 551.23 driver installed iv noticed the screen go randomly black for 2 seconds then comes back on. didnt happen to me when playing cyberpunk, happens when usually web browsing or sometimes just desktop idle.
anyone else experience this?
whats really odd is that when it happens i check event viewer and there is no record there of a driver tdr crash.
