A lot of native HDR have bad implementations with black level raise so RenoDX fixes it. RTX HDR is AI post processing that converts SDR to HDR while RenoDX modifies game code to inject real native HDR. Also RTX HDR has a performance hit and other issues like crushing blacks, blowing out whites or having a game UI/subtitles be max brightness (can set UI brightness separately with RenoDX).What makes it better than RTX HDR or native HDRdone BTW the developer?
I like using RTX HDR on my media players but for games Reno is so much better and I highly advise anyone with a decent HDR display to try it. Once you know how to set it up it only takes a few clicks per game for a much better image.
