We need someone with a bottlenecked system to test it, unless you fancy underclocking greg?

I get ~2.5x better CPU scaling Mantle vs DirectX in every Mantle enabled thing i have (i only have BF4 and Star Swarm)

But thats what they have to compete with

No real change in batman ao or tomb raider for me. Lower score in firestrike but an increase in hitman absolution scoring 68 up from 52 minimum, 108 up from 96 maximum and 85 up from 64 average. That's quite a jump I reckon.

Going to keep testing.

Greg for testing why not unclock cpu and see what you get.......would be very interesting to see what the uplift is.

Either way small boost isn't anything to scoff at I'm curious to see what the drivers actually do do

Was mostly likey on a stock 780ti and a stock cpu.
Like mantle people at the higher end of the spectrum see a smaller jump

If others don't I will but I don't see the point of dropping my CPU clocks to test at 4K. I will have a 1080P play later but for me, it is pointless as I have no intention of playing at 1080P.

Wait till the guys with 1080P do the testing and on normal CPU's and you will start to see those improvements, as my CPU usage has shot down.

While I dont have highest end CPU I do own i7 2600k and I have a massive boost with Mantle

On a 2600k here clocked at 4.6, and a pair of 780Ti's. What increases if any should I be seeing?
Just tested Skyrim which I thought had a few 'cpu limited' bits, zero difference.

EDIT - just ran the hitman bench at 1920x1080 at ultra settings. Minimum framerate up from 48 to 64!

I know the hitman bench behaves odd and doesn't seem to like nvidia or SLI, but I'm taking that as at least one pretty significant improvement!

What games will see the most benefit from this driver?

Nothing he said suggests he's going Nvidia. He clearly states he's interested in the results because if Nvidia can do it then most likely AMD could do something similar. I think amd would have to follow as only in Mantle games do they have the cpu usage advantage. Nvidia would have a big edge in most games if these drivers turn out to be what nvidia say they are.

Haven't had time to download or try these yet and wont get chance till later but I'm hoping for increased minimums. Those gains in Majnu's link are looking good but I suspect they are results using lower end cpu's, but what do I know

Same as Paul. I will deffo have a play on BF4 when I get back from work. That is probably the most demanding on my CPU, so will be a good test.

Ok tried BF3, (I uninstalled Battlederp 4 unfortunately so can't test)

Seeing massive gains on 32 player TDM all Ultra. I think I can use Vsync and it will lock at 120FPS.

Edit - tried 64 player server (Firestorrm) all Ultra and smooth as silk. (Note the server was full)
