**THE NVIDIA DRIVERS THREAD**

Dont you need to use the app though for ray reconstruction and MFG?

I also only downloaded it on the 30th when DLSS 4 came out and yeah the support seems crap.. I have Stalker 2 through the game pass and i can't use the app to switch it to DLSS 4, the game is detected but the 'driver settings' where you see DLSS Override is just a blank space.
I thought it might have been a game pass issue but Starfield and Indiana Jones works fine

Plenty guides on YouTube.

But if you don't want to use such apps.

You can find the locations of the dlss files yourself and do it. Or use gpuz to show you the locations. Go techpowerup and grab latest dlss files. Paste over.

Then use nvidia inspector or another program I used forgot it's name now to change the profiles to use profile K.

I never use the optimise feature anyway but it would be nice if it worked properly. Just have to assume it's nvidias fault as this seems to be a common problem when searching online.

I have the same issue, and have also done the DDU process. I only really used the section to compare optimal with my own settings, just to see if I could up anything.

I had issues with the app as well at first... The same issues that are being listed here.
After uninstalling the app and doing a fresh install it works as it should. The games which were showing as unsupported are now supported, like Stalker 2.

Just installing the app over an existing install did nothing, it was only after completely removing it and installing it again that it worked.

I did the re-install of the app, but no luck with Stalker 2 still. I have no idea why as everything else is fine.

Still doesn't support Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth. I know this as whennyou go to their support page that shows what games are supported it is not there. At least it was not when I checked.

Just seems pointless to me if they can't add a triple a game like that. Might as well do it manually until they get their **** together.
 
I gave up on using the app, some games work, some don't. You reinstall, some different games work, some still don't!

There's nothing the app offers you can't get between the old control panel and nvprofileinspector. At least with the latter you can reliably force the new transformer model. It's worth noting the app will reset any game you override through nvpi once you close the game, so you have to force it every time. That was the last straw for uninstalling it.
