**THE NVIDIA DRIVERS THREAD**

I'm so glad I've had none of those issues on my 4090, even with two screens, Gsync on, RTX HDR in games and videos always turned on, as well as games that use FG or DLSS. Apart from the rare one-off black screen during the driver install, they've never given me any issues whatsoever in use so far. Games haven't crashed and Windows 11 has never BSOD either, not even a driver recovery.

Nvidia does need to sort itself out because, between the 5000 series disaster of a launch with its hardware quality control issues, and now pretty bad driver issues, they are losing a lot of the reputation they've built up over the many years. I buy Nvidia because the majority of the time the hardware is great and drivers are usually rock solid overall. I don't pay a premium for crap hardware and poor drivers.

Nvidia is on a very slippery slope here.

Mine's fine :p

Seems 4090 users are basically fine with the drivers, everyone should have just got a 4090 :p

4080 Super here...

Been getting crash after crash in the latest COD Warzone. Trying to find a decent driver.

Now using the CUDA's.

Wish I'd had the money at the time for a 4090

I did actually have black screen flashing for about 2 secs as if the display was switching a mode but that seemed to be a sticky Gsync/display setting bug in the NVCPL, after toggling them on and off a few times this had completely gone away.

Yeah, I had that exact same issue with my 4090, plus a few other bugs and glitches. Things have been better on the 5090, barring the "black screen after install" bug (which can be resolved for me by turning the monitor on and off). The situation's not great, though.

Seems Nvidia driver team has been fired and AI isnt doing a good job. Reddit full of complaints (and a plethora of other online forums). ALong with card power cables melting. Ouch

Well, this is good at least. When people bang on about AMD drivers, one can point at the mess Nvidia have made now
