I didn't go to my grandfathers funeral because I wanted to stay home and play computer games. I told my parents I was too shook up over it to deal with going, and they bought it. They were even all concerned for me. To be honest I never really liked him or knew him well.

I feel like I should feel worse about it than I do.

I'm sorry but I really don't think this is cool. He was your family and even if you didn't have much in common he really would have cared for you. This is more about respect for him than claiming to never like him or know him. Fair enough if you had a fall out over some kind of major principle and that's why you chose to stay away, but this doesn't sound like that.

Some people, in fact on few on here, don't even have relatives or family and would love the chance to have spent even just an extra day with a late relative - I really think you should look at your family and really appreciate what you have and make the most of it as everything is destined to end at some point. It's not healthy to feel the way you do in my opinion.

Apols for the rant!

I'm not having a go at whoever it was. I'm just saying my opinion on the subject as I feel it's really important to make the most of what you've got.

I think I might be falling for my housemate who's been with her boyfriend for a very long time and sort of lives here. He's a great guy and I get along with him really well. They're having trouble and half of me feels like I should take advantage of it.....The other half says I shouldn't interfer....I have no idea what to do.

hmm perhaps 'ill wait to talk about my drunken exploits.... :(

Sad thing is waking up and your first thought is "OH NO!" followed by "WHY?" followed by "where am i? and how much will a taxi home be"

hehe
thats not very anonymous is it? ;) :p

Don't crap on your doorstep regardless of whether they have a boyfriend. It's rule number one. I've done it and it's soo not worth it. You just need to spend time with other girls.

well this one's REALLY easy to give advice on... DO NOTHING.

Under no circumstances should you be pursuing this route.... firstly you take advantage of her, then her bf will beat you up, then she will move out the flat and everything is ****ed....

DO NOT TAP YOUR FLATMATE!!!!!!

Go find some other girl!

I think the crapping part is where you're going wrong. If you crap on her doorstep you'll never get anywhere. Sex is the way forward.
