**The OcUK Benchmarks thread!**

+1 and it is great to see AMD have pulled in the gap they had from early drivers. You stonked me comfortably on the AvP demo though.

Yeah, i still think work needs to be done though with battlefield 3. Its improved greatly, if they can just keep adding a little bit more.

The stock maps are fine, but armoured kill still needs a bit of work imo.

My minimums are lower online in battlefield 3.

As for AVP i actually spent all day downloading the bloody thing, (20+gig) then realised you could download a 300mb benchmark. :p

Its a shame it doesn't let you tweak the settings, as ive no idea what settings it was running at. It did look graphically pleasing though.

Metro 2033 used the built in benchmark tool
BF3 was using the Operation Swordbreaker level as per the youtube video
Borderlands2 was in the Sanctuary area as im not very far into the game as yet
MW3 was the Scorhed Earth level.

I did try to bench Rage but it was a constant 60FPS so im asuming vsync was on but coyldnt see an option to disable it.

AVP2 only reported the avarage framerate which was 104.6FPS.

AvP puts a folder in your documents, you will find text files in it with the results.

Thats ^^^ it.

I'm going to run my benches again with FRAPS this time, just to add to whats there.

And BF3 later to.

Nice looking forward to it. :)

I found a tool that lets you tweak the Aliens Vs Predator Benchmark settings, so you can run everything at its absolute highest settings. It pushes the GPU much harder.

Download This + the AVP Benchmark tool (google it)

http://www.sendspace.com/file/gbzjza

Configure it so its like this

Then post your results, here's mine.

Use command-line option '-logframetime' to report performance frame-by-frame.

This was my settings. I am not disabling SLI/Monitors again lol

Sword Breaker:

Frames, Time (ms), Min, Max, Avg
10090, 108779, 62, 145, 92.757

FRAPS'd the combat bit at I got bored doing the whole lot when all it does is smooth the average out a little :D.

Your minimum is more than double of MeatLoaf's minimum with the same card.

No idea. Mine is max OC'd. Like 1310 on the core and +550 on the mem.

Did another, full benchmark rather than just the combat. Slightly lower minimum but around the same:

Frames, Time (ms), Min, Max, Avg
31648, 344622, 59, 164, 91.834

Fair enough, have a beer on me. ;)

Will do :)

I think when you get in the mix with cars exploding, you will get your lowest frame drops. I tend to look at the average and lowest fps when considering if a GPU is worth it.

I did.

Making a video of how I bench this SP mission now. Although on my video I had to run away as I was about to die like a newb so didn't get a full explosion in my face but I did while benching :D.

I think Rusty has 2 680s in SLI tho :p

Only using one for this bench.
