A buffet would be good .. Daz would certainly be kept out of mischief all night with the food to distract him :p
 
Right well i dont know about any other Uni's but i doubt they'll all be that different. My semesters dont line up with the School terms, i'm back in Uni on the 18th. I thought i would be off, but that was a dodgy asumption to make, lucky i checked would want to mess you all around cause i said im definate. I'll probably still make it, but im not placing any bets just yet. Sorry for being a twurp, can you move me to a probably list :p

TO reply to everyone who flamed me for deciding not to go to Bar Med - now for a start, that was JUST bar med, thats my choice. JUST like in Swansea, some people didnt go to Time - they didnt get flamed, did they? I am still coming to the rest of it!

WHen I go to clubs etc, I only go for the music. You cant talk in clubs because the music is too loud. I dont drink. That just about leaves the music. Why go somewhere where I dont like the music? Its not like you could talk over the music (which is why we are meeting up before).

I have met quite a large percentage of the "famous faces" on the list anyway. I wasnt compaining about the venue choice, I am 100% fine with that, merely stating that I wont be attending.

Perhaps people should stop being so militant and just take it easy?

EDIT: Sorry you took great offence martin, wasn't intended.
There's no 'just no bar med' - thats the venue, so you either come there or dont come at all afaik....

I don't see any problems with doing the pool and meal only - like he said, some of us went for a curry in Swansea instead.

I think we (me included) assumed you were pulling out of the whole thing because we had changed clubs.

Erm train ride from Edinburgh is quite a long way away i'll have you know. Not as far as London i'll grant that. But to come down for the weekend and trek back up by monday might not be very do-able. Unless you'll still be in Liverpool then? My bad if so.

Nope, I'll be coming for the weekend. Liam has been here and back over a day, so it's very do-able....plus, it's for a good cause :D

I agree with the cause, and yeah London may be possible, Edinburgh is a little further away as i said, I'll see what i can do.

As for that lets not even start being silly alright, you've covered just about everything yourself in this alone.

I wasnt annoyed by the flaming - I was annoyed by the fact that despite the fact I said I would definitely make it, I only ever made it to "interested" and have now been removed from the list altogether.

bar med is a bit pants for what liverpool has to offer, concert square, the albert dock are a lot better to name a couple. Still the best night out in the UK!
 
You still didn't move me to the definitely list either :p :D.

Good news about it being free too!

I was just thinking though, these clubs must make a hell of a lot of money! </random>

Edit: Btw, I've never been to Bar Med, I've seen it but never ventured inside. I'm off out to town this week so I might pop in. :).

The venue chosen is fine.
And for the record, matthew street is better than concert square more often than not :p
 
Btw Lynnie very impressed with how quickly updated the front page is.
Great organisation in general, very well done! (I know its been said before someone points it out, but it deserves it again, and i haven't said so yet).

I am truly suprised you remember me, even if I did sleep on your floor! (very comfy it was too!). I thought you only had eyes for Desmo ;):eek:

Just to confirm, I will be there, I just wont attend the Bar Med, unless someone even more attractive than Piggymon decides to show up and drag me along ;)
