People are normally more than happy to share a twin room
Travel Inn is only £57 ish per night for a double but I don't want to book it until we know how close it is

Direct through the Marriot website .. £97 for a double room
The Premier Lodge is about a ten minute walk from Bar Med £56 for a double room and continental breaky £6 to park for the whole weekend in the NPC (I think) accross the road from the hotel

I called them earlier to check what the arrangement was with car parking and was told that you should park in the NCP then get your ticket validated at the hotel reception in the morning.
Price is £6 from 1:30pm to 8:30am

Like the idea of the Marriott - less chance of getting lost if I leave early.
Will give it a little longer though and see what others do.
Also going to be a 2-nighter for me, so if anyone makes plans for the Friday night, let me know.

Im up for anything on the Friday. Bowling sound good?
We are thinking of doing bowling on the Sunday as most people will pass Edge Lane (where Hollywood bowl is) on their way home as it leads to the M62 motorway. A few people have already shown interest in this on MSN earlier in the week.
How about we get together somewhere in the city centre that’s quiet? (e.g. a weatherspoons as they don’t play load music, we can have some food and a good natter)
