The OcUK Powerlifting Totals

Had some fun in the gym today...

mrthingyx ------- 95 / 135 / 170 ------ [93] ---- 400kg

It wasn't pretty, but it still went up. :)
Big 400, congrats. Form wasn't the best, but not "that" bad. your setup was already wrong from when you started. Make sure to stick your arse out and have your back straight when you position yourself to start the lift. I'm sure ice can write a whole paragraph to exemplify further. :D
Update!!
160/210/270(s) - was 128kg this morning so might as well update that too :)

you just wanted to be in that 1st place, admit it! ;)

Yeah, I know the form was shocking on this (should probably have a health warning for those who watch it! :D) - bum being too high and back not tight enough are just two points.

It was funny, because I spotted the 'bum' issue on the 3x160, so there's even less excuse. :(

Still happy considering I haven't done proper deadlifts since some point in early October, so...

Delvis looking at the 130kg for reps video you easily have 140 in the bag. I pulled 140 for a single when I was nearer 115/120 for 5.

Aye. Could do a single no doubt. Just need to edge the deadlifts in slowly still as my back/whatever isn't 100%.

How can you say that when you can triple 130kg? Clearly that's showing your back is more than capable, it's just excuses man.

Mate. You know more so than others how my back is, I'd rather not screw it up again for ego purposes. I'm deadlifting again, so I'm a happy man

That, and it just doesn't feel pretty. But I guess thats the nature of the lift
