Oh, I forgot to mention that the trains do run to Pembroke Dock, so if people want to go by train I'll arrange transport to come and pick you up :).

Book early for those Apex fares :)

Oh and I'm not coming into the dock after 5 I'll be drinking by then ;), but you could get a taxi to the house, particularly if there are a few of you

This is where it gets confusing :D
He might but he might not depending on his car (You can tell he's organised), but as I know your car's a bit packed as it is, I'll push for if he goes to bring his car and I'll most likely go with him so he doesn't get lost.
But then that adds another car to the equation for the parking.....

Feeling like a right nusiance for both you and Matblack atm :o
I'm waiting until when I see him in a couple of weekends to ask then (Erm because I have better persuasion powers in person) so I should know after that.

Apologises to both :(

No problems to me, one more car or person isn't going to make a huge difference. I'm awaiting the results of Mothers negotiations with the church committee over renting the church car park. :)

Matblack managed to convince me to join in this - and maybe I'll even get a little more involved in events this time :o (most of the AT rides would have been sickmaking for me :().

I still need to be a little careful about this. Due to my eyesight problems, there's a danger of me getting garrotted by tent ropes, or punctured by tent spikes. I've done both before, so I have no doubt I can do both again. However, I have 'done' camping before (a long time ago), so I have some idea what to expect.

So, I need to organise:
  • Transport. Anyone travelling past M4 J13 willing to give me a lift? (will contribute to petrol).
  • Accommodation. I'm not sure about tent sharing , but that doesn't rule out something being sorted (I know camping and privacy don't go together). Or I could get my own - although I haven't got a clue how to put one up. :)
  • A blanket. ;)
... plus a few other obvious things.

Can't do much about the accomodation or the transport but what we will do is do everything we can to make sure that you have accomodation which has access to everything without having to navigate through other tents and also a lit and direct to route to the loos.

I would sugest that you might want a sleeping bag in addition to a blanket :) Pembroke nights can be cool even in summer.

Nuts to sleeping bag, I'm sure it'll be fine undone and I'm planning on being too drunk to notice if I have a few chilly bits. I'm in the lucky situation of being able to ponce a blanket at short notice from the 'rents if it comes to the crunch :)

NickK I have added you to the list, I think a kettle BBQ might not be enough what we really need is a Oil Drum barbie, does anyone have one?
