Man of Honour
EDIT - Double post
Listen to this man, no one has returned more in his time than the legendary returner LiE
How come? I always thought returns to Amazon was just a case of going through the motions?
I can't even order a 12.9" from Amazon at the moment, keeps going around in an out of stock circle on both my phone and computer. You can’t just click return and print you have to either connect to chat or phone call and they want you to contact Apple for advice before a return. It was a pain tbh first time with Amazon….

In hindsight I wish I’d gone for the 2020 version if I could have got it at a good discounted price, but that being said there’s no doubting the 2021 is very good - just not as good as the hype suggested.Out of interest do/did you have a 2018 or 2020 model? Just curious what your thoughts are on comparison between the screens.
It’s interesting that @Rimsy claims there is a negligible difference in day to day use.
I’d have no interest in watching films or the such on my iPad (HDR or not) - I have a TV for that.
So I do genuinely wonder would the Mini LED be wasted one someone such as myself who just browses the web and does some light photo editing.
That’s me got the magic keyboard set up now and wow, this is such high quality. Switching between personal apps / web browsing and windows VM for work is going to be a game changer for when I am out and about
You're running windows VM on the ipad itself?
Nope, connected to a host pool on Azure - https://azure.microsoft.com/en-gb/services/virtual-desktop/ that work provide for corporate use.
Signed up for GitHub Codespaces Beta as well (should hopefully be approved shortly) as that seems like the best possible route for coding on the iPad Pro, will hopefully give it a spin this week and report back.
It will come at cost (not sure what that cost is yet) once it is out of preview but the ability to define dependencies for repo’s then be able to spin up a codespace to work on that repo with all the dependencies etc already installed as and when you want to use it is going to be insanely good, particularly for those just getting into software development.Ah thanks for this, I hadn’t heard of that before. Signed up as that would be ideal
