Are you going to buy the 2022 Apple TV with USB-C charging on the remote?

You essentially have two options.
  • Configure a VPN on your router for the whole of your network.
  • Configure a policy based rule so that traffic from the Apple TV uses a pre-existing VPN connection that the router has.
The second option needs a router which can do it, not many consumer grade ones can.

Or option 3, buy an Nvidia Shield or Firestick.

My UDM SE as an example.

Ok so not an app on Apple TV but according to this posted by someone else-

NordVPN works for me. It has a SmartDNS feature that you can turn on via the website, then just change the DNS to Manual on the ATV settings, input the new DNS they give you and that's it.

Anyone use a NAS with their Apple TV for Infuse (or Plex)?

Looking for any recommendations for a simple plug and play solution that I can plug into my BT Superhub 2.

It absolutely does work as intended.

I have SmartDNS setup so my ATV can access VUDU and HBO.

Is the ATV not set up the same as the App Store on the phone/iPad in that if I google HBO I can get the USA app but if I open it up in the app store it says my account isn’t registered there.

So I take it you have to have different apple accounts set as the US in order to download the apps specific to the US? Then set up the smartDNS in order to watch the content?
