*** The official 2023 and 2024 Mac mini thread (it has the M2 chip, the M4 chip and everything!) ***

Could someone explain stage manager to me? Is it the mac equivalent of a virtual desktop, in which case do the states persist during restarts and powering down?

Having issues atm - My SFP in the switch isn't maintaining 10Gb to the Mini. It's flapping 100Mb/5Gb then settling on 5Gb for a while. this was with both ends forced to 10Gb. Set to auto and it's then been flapping 100Mb/10Gb all day.

I would really like this keyboard from Corsair, I think it may be the K65 Plus but it seems it is not available in white as far as I can see :(

Keychron Q1 looks almost identical to that. You can get it in White too.
Don't suppose you know of any places you could obtain reasonably priced shinethrough keycaps witht he rounded design keychron tend to come with do you? I have the V5, and it's bugging me that I can't have the light off at night.

Nuphy does a shin through set. It's ABS rather than PBT though. Also, it's not 108 keys, it is just 65 and 75.

Now i'm tempted to just pick up a nuphy air 75

I have the Halo 65 at work. They work great with Mac. It has wifi dongle for 2.4ghz too. The keycaps even have the media keys etched on them.

It's that style of keycaps I'm looking for, except shinethrough and accomodating a UK Layout. Hyper specific, I know but the shape of them remind me of older keyboards like my Model M.

They do a black shin through set, but the plastic is not as nice to type on.

My iMac has crashed every day for the last 3 days, total 4 times this week....I am going to get that Mac mini sooner than later. Also, checked Edu store, £499 but 8G of Ram has no discount at all and £200 extra.

Think I am going to stick with base unit. £200 towards the next Mac mini in 5 years' time.
