I'm only getting 9300 on Cinebench R20 Stock with my 5950x Why is that?
I get around 24,000 on R23, which is actually about normal for stock.
it's 100% not cooling. i have 13 fans inside my case with a 360mm aio in push/pull config. Like someone said earlier, it's probably a crappy ASUS bios setting i need to tweak. Its not that far off ballpark numbers for a 5950x.
Could be RAM speed or maybe insufficient cooling
also i don't think ram speed would effect a score that much, nevertheless 800 or so points. Its not that far off ballpark numbers for a 5950x.
Could be RAM speed or maybe insufficient cooling

Could this be the issue? : https://www.reddit.com/r/ASUS/comments/t90h9s/new_strix_x570e_bios_4204_is_terrible_and/@MrFrazzles what agesa version does your bios have?
Yeah i've tried that, little to no difference. The weird thing is on Cinebench R23 i'm getting stock scores like 24k MT and 1610 ST but on R20 It's all over the place. I'm starting to think it's a software issue so i'm going to do a fresh install of windows tomorrow and see if that fixes things. Thanks for the help though it's much appreciatedDid you change the process priority in Cinebench before starting the run? For some reason it's always set to below normal, try setting it to normal or higher and see if your score went up, this doesn't make too much difference on a fresh install so there's not a lot of background process running, but on a standard installation, it helps.
Is this okay for stock?they are all stuck on 3650-3675, no higher. hope this helps
Yeah it's weird. Could it be possible i got a garbage chip? Surely it can't be that bad lolThat seems low, from what I can see, 5950X on stock settings should be running at 4.0 with all cores under load.
