Jii said:Well i received my Club 3D 7900 GTX card yeasterday.
Stock speeds 650/800. Used coolbits to OC.
the max that i have found is 694 for the core and 840 for the mem. So i went from 650/1600 to 694/1680 I had to say Im really dissapointed for the memoryThe 3dmark05 went from 9913 to 10073 =P That 160 points increase...
The rig is: 4400+@4800+ (220FSB) 2gigs of corsairs 3500LLPRO and the GPU as stated above. The drivers were 84.21 So any suggestions what to do whit card, how to get a "litle" more out of it. My goal at the start was 11000+ =P
694/840MHz
CS:S 1280x1024 4xAA 16xAF = 167 FPS
CS:S 1600x1200 4xAA 16xAF = 158 FPS
Well not so bad but Club3D are only a Tier2 partner which means they don't actually get their GPU's/Cards from NVIDIA they buy from TIER1 partners such as BFG/XFX etc. who will no doubt sell them the nasty stuff that does not clock so well.......However you system should be doing better, try a fresh install with different drivers.
But really is this "normal"Jii said:PSU: 580W Tagan
Ad-aware came clean and the newest drivers for mb are Version: 6.85, currently running 6.82 Tried to OC the CPU alitle more but no go there. BTW whicth do I belive the cpuz saying that my vcore is 1.457, or asus probe II saying its 1.44 or bios where its set to be 1.485... =D Next plan is to make a clean install in the coming week, clean up some HD firstBut really is this "normal"
whit a 4800+ class CPU 2 gigs of Corsair LLPRO CPU/MEM 1:1 (220FSB) and default 7900 GTX 9912-10074 points? (even whit OC 650@690MHz 800@840MHz
Damm that memory, I would be happy whit the 690 core (but really wondering
that OC the core approcimately 6.2% gains only 1.6% in points 3dmark05 =/)

Anyway i got my ocuk 7900gt today along with a vf-900. Im amazed how much this card can be overclocked!
Using coolbits i can reach 560 max on the core, and 809 (1618) on the memory, and thats not even the highest the memory can go, thats just the highest coolbits will go!
Excellent value for money, and im saying that going from a 7800gt.
Now im going to have another go using rivatuner.
they do clock fantastic.

hope my rig can take it, i wont be upgrading anything for a long time now
. Its a great cooler, during 3dmark05 it goes up to 46 degrees (and my room is warm today) and 39 degrees idle.
even though ive used it beforeJohanson said:I already have it. Its a great cooler, during 3dmark05 it goes up to 46 degrees (and my room is warm today) and 39 degrees idle.
Btw, how exactly do i use rivatuner? Ive just installed it, but i cant find any overclocking options or anythingeven though ive used it before
, something about incompatable drivers
. I'll try ati tool.Johanson said:There is? Where do i find info about this volt mod?
