*** The official Apple Watch Series 9, 10 (and Ultra 2) thread (it has double tap and everything!) ***

Hmm. Amazon have the Ultra 2 for £67 a month for 12 months interest free. Tempting.
Not bad, if you have a very account you can do ‘Buy now, pay later’ for 12 months interest free as long as you clear the balance within 12 months.

Pay it off as little or as much as you like then.

Had to reset and wipe my series 9 this week as I suffered the "ghost touch" problem. Nearly **** myself when it started vibrating on my bedside table at 3am apparently entering an incorrect passcode multiple times.

Has anyone got an Oura ring and if so is it better than the Apple Watch? I currently have the Apple Watch SE Gen 2 and was looking into smart rings but then I thought I could just upgrade to the AW 10 or AW Ultra 3 when they come out in September/October.

I'm looking to track sleep, exercise and health signs. Thoughts?

There are several YouTube reviews on the topic. Generally the rings perform the worst so I’d get a watch.

Ring is also a subscription thing is it not, I'd steer away from anything that goes down that route, I want to pay for something and then use it as when and where I want..

I am tempted by other wearables though, but we'll see what new stuff the new watch brings, then that'll be my excuse to upgrade from my Series 7.

I'm curious. What data only eSIMs are people using in their watches? I've really struggled to find eSIMs with a decent deal and I'm thinking of getting an Ultra 3 when they come out next month.

At the moment I use Smarty but they don't support eSIMs as far as I know.

AFAIK you have to have it with your phone contract, it’s similar to an extension of that contract if you will - although it does have it’s own number. It’s £5 a month and unlimited. I don’t think you can buy a standalone watch sim.

I see. Thank you. I guess I'll have to get in contact with Smarty and see what they offer otherwise I'll have to change network for like the 100th time :D.
