I could only see eclipse plus which has 4 pci-e lanes funnily enough. Thanks :)

I see where I went wrong it said Eclipse SLi but I forgot X58 supports both SLi/CF.

The Eclipse plus has 3 x16 lanes or 4 x16... I'm kind of confused by their diagram.

Edit - They'd see more performance on true 3 x16 lanes surely?

Edit 2 - I just read the last one runs at x4 but the other 3 are at x16

Don't confuse mechanical x16 and electrical x16.

This is how I understand it.

X58 has 36 pci-e 2.0 lanes.

so 16x 16x 4x (and some left over for short slots)
or 16x 8x 8x on some boards with three full length pci-e slots
or 8x 8x 8x 8x for boards with 4 full length slots.

A NF200 chip can expand that to 16x 16x 16x.

Although I don't think it has much impact on performance.

After some reading fornowagain, you'll get x16/x16/x16 with eclipse plus as it has the nf200 chip. :) But I can't find anything on it about crossfireX.

Edit - doesn't make a single bit of difference though :p
