It offered a new experience from Cod with its team play, vehicles, and destruction. Everything that annoyed me about cod was solved by this game so I switched. As a result BF3 became a hype release further innovating on that existing formula and battlefield became a household name. Not because they did what everyone else did, but because they offered an experience you couldn't get anywhere else."
