To be fair, Whyte was the WBC mandatory so I'd include him in the top 10 too.

But the fact of the matter is since that one night in Dusseldorf 8 years ago he hasn't done enough. Of course he has done enough for his bank balance but anyone who would try and argue that he is a ATG heavyweight is a proper mug.
Yes you are right I completely missed that.

Ughh... Why face that 'Big Baby' when he could face the real 'Big Baby' Jared Anderson. That would at least be interesting more than Big Pharma Miller.

Least it'll be two drug cheats together
It just annoys me that people give others so much stick but Fury gets a free pass. Have you seen the Warren IFL interview? It’s embarrassing the level of delusion that this guy is trying to peddle out. Anyone who believes it is a mug.

Sad thing is, many people are still falling for it. Though since the whole Usyk charade it seems on social media a lot of fans are turning against him

He actually slipped up again and acknowledged Tyson had no trainer or camp setup for Usyk fight as was originally revealed by his trainer.

They are actively attempting to deceive the public and are using AJ and Hearn and now Usyk as well as ammo. Fury is the main reason we so much inactivity in the HW division he’s holding everything up, he’s messing everybody around. I can’t wait for him to retire Boxing will be better for it.

Hmm I’m very dubious about this.

The sanctioning body called a final eliminator between the number one and two ranked heavyweights, Deontay Wilder and Andy Ruiz Jr, last November. The winner would then be ordered to challenge Fury, but a fight never materialised.
Frank Warren has now told TalkSPORT that he will be meeting with the WBC’s President, Mauricio Sulaiman, this week, and he expects them to call a mandatory defence.

Working down the rankings, it’s still perhaps no clearer as to who will end up in the ring with Fury. Contenders don’t have to accept a mandatory challenge if the letter lands on their doorstep.
The cyinic in me, knowing how dodgy the WBC can be is half wondering if the WBC will call Wilder as the mandatory, putting an obstacle in the path of the Wilder AJ fight.

I don’t trust Frank as far as I could throw him, him Shelly Finkel, Hayman and Arum have had it in for Hearn and by default Aj for years. I hope this is not the case.

He lost to Catterall and it annoys me still but I do like Taylor not just because of his skills in the ring but mostly cause of how fiery he is. He just seems to always be on smoke when he sees them. Though he lost that desire for the smoke with the Catterall rematch :p

His mandatory was called at least. Gives caterall a chance to get a belt of his own if he can entice prograis into a fight. Should be easy for him now that they are with the same promoter.

Anyway looking forward to it hope Taylor smashes Lopez as I can’t stand the guy.

Definitely right up there in the list of fights I want to see.

Why do people even talk like he’s the best?

He didn’t even have power at 126lbs or 130lbs. How can you stop people that can actually hit? All that boxing, you’re gonna get hit, what you going to do when you get hit?”

issue is I see Shakur like Pretty Boy Floyd. Sure, what happens when you hit him. Issue is, can you hit him clean?

I'd love to see the fight but I'm backing Shakur over anyone until I'm proven wrong. When your fighters favourite fighter in Crawford can see how special he is. I think you need to take note.

I like Davis but he is the definition of a well managed fighter. Who has he beat? An undersized Leo Santa Cruz (savage KO though) or a weight drained Ryan Garcia? C'mon tank, stop crashing into pregnant women in hit and runs and start fighting credible opposition.

I think Shakur knows it’ll be the toughest fight of his career.

I don’t think he [Gervonta Davis] wants to stay away from me, but I know deep down inside he respects me, the same respect I got for him, he respects me.

He knows who he’s dealing with, he knows I’m the truth, I know he’s the truth. That’s the moral to the story, we’re made for the moment, that time when we do fight each other, it’s made to be the biggest fight. I just feel we’re two special fighters that have to meet.”

Annoying it’s not in the uk though. I’m not staying up till 5am to watch it.

Fury set to receive a take it or leave it offer from the Saudis. Take it or relinquish the belt.

According to my knowledge, they will receive a formal written offer very soon. And it will be Tyson’s decision whether to take it or leave it.”

“We’ve done everything possible to make this fight happen, and now the ball is on Tyson’s side. It’s a take it or leave it offer.”

“If you take it, then you have a big fight – the biggest fight of your career. If you hesitate, or if you try to trade out something, or try to swing around, then it shows that you are not serious, and you have to relinquish the belt and retire.”

“Not for one month, or one week like you usually do, probably forever.”
